What exactly does that mean? Google has indexed most of the web, and does a fairly good job at it. But, what about all of the datasets and systematic knowledge? In other words, if you ask a computer a question, will it give you an answer? This is where WolframAlpha comes in to play.

In the past years, Stephen Wolfram has been expanding on the concepts which make up the WolframAlpha engine. Visit this page at Harvard University’s to learn more detail about the new engine. This is a new way of thinking that I am excited to give a shot. The WolframAlpha blog reported that they opened up their engine to testers on 08 May 2009, and found that more people jumped on the bandwagon than they expected. Apparently, people are talking.

Cuill did not seem to do that well with their new project. I am excited to see this new principle of thinking as applied to web search technology.
