Sites like USTREAM have gained extreme popularity and momentum in the past year or so. USTREAM allows you to create your own personal TV station using your webcam. Those of us with iPhones are well aware of its limitation of a camera, not a video recorder.
There is an app called qik that manages to take your iPhone camera and stream video feeds near real-time and publishes them to qik’s web site. Near real-time means that there is a small 2-5 second delay in the live feeds from your phone to the web site. Once you setup your account, either through qik’s website or your iPhone, select the sub-directory name of your qik channel (e.g.http://qik.com/RBucky). It really is as simple as that.
