Doubletwist as an alternative to iTunes

If you own an iPhone, or most any other smartphone, you have an alternative to using iTunes. Check here for a list of compatible devices. From my experiences, iTunes is a system resource hog. There is nothing worse that a computer program that does not know its place on your machine. DoubleTwist is compatible on your XP, Vista, Windows7, and Mac clients and will let you “search, buy, and sync in seconds!” You can also convert videos on DoubleTwist. The only caveat is that DoubleTwist does not purchase from the iTunes store. The software uses Amazons MP3 store.
